The WSVG finals were shot at the CSTV studios at Chelsea Piers in New York City. It was the first time a video gaming competition was to be aired for a major network. Two sets were constructed: a qualifying stage (blue with lit truss motif) and the finals area where a large color controllable plexi-glass stage fabricated to highlight the sense of action.
